Herp of the Day: Liasis mackloti

My friend Eric has a good-sized female Macklot's Python named Samea. She, like his Spotted Pythons, is very inquisitive, a pain to photograph, and a fantastic animal at education programs. I am told Samea's temperament is atypical for the species, however. This is a long but fairly slender-bodied species from Indonesia.
